Full Tilt Poker sued by Kentucky
According to recent reports the popular US facing poker room Full Tilt Poker is being sued by the state of Kentucky.State officials have launched a law suit against the popular poker room to reclaim all losses of Kentucky residents for the last 5 years.
This follows the law suit that Kentucky launched in regards to gambling domains that offered services to residents of the USA. They have now added the domains of the Pocket Kings who are beleived to be the Dublin based co owners of Full Tilt Poker.
This follows news that the poker site is also facing a Federal Grand Jury hearing as reported earlier by us re breaking US money laundering regulations. This essentially means that anyone who holds an interest in the poker room could be convicted for breaking the law if the poker room is found guilty.
The state of Kentucky justify the latest law suite by reportedly saying the following “the Commonwealth is entitled to sue and recover triple the value of the money lost during the statutory period between March 25, 2005 and September 25, 2009 (the five year period preceding this Complaint but excluding the recent six months) by person located within the borders of Kentucky.”
