Full Tilt Poker Hearing
In recent reports it has come to light that the Internet Poker room Full Tilt Poker is being investigated for breaking US money laundering laws. This US facing poker room is apparently being investigated by a Federal Grand Jury in Manhattan re these violations of the law and the owners of the poker site could be liable to face criminal charges.
At the present time playing Internet Poker in the United States is considered to be illegal and Full Tilt Poker along with Poker Stars are the major players in this market. We do not normally comment on the law and legality of cases as we leave that sort of thing to the politicians and law makers of the world,it does however seem strange that adults who are able to make an informed choice are barred from playing a game of skill.
We look forward to seeing how this issue pans out and hope that it will not be too long before there is a regulated internet poker industry available to poker players in the United States.
