Dutch crack down on Poker Players

Internet Poker players in the Netherlands have according to reports received tax demands for income earned from the authorities.The government of the Netherlands has apparently contacted a number of Internet Poker players in this small but highly succesful poker community to send them information guides re online gaming and taxation.

This in turn has led to questions being asked by Internet Poker players as to how the authorities knew that they were taking part in online poker . We are watching this story with some anticipation as we are sure that there will be some startling revelations in due course.
